Zappos.com claims to be the Web's most popular shoes store, but that doesn't begin to adequately describe how enthusiastic customers are about their shopping experiences at Zappos. Part of the reason Zappos.com consistently garners the highest ratings from online shoppers is because their customer service can border on the unbelievable. It's not just that you can buy designer shoes at Zappos Shoes for prices far below what you'd expect to see, it's that they treat you so well when you do.

Let's say, for example, that your order an adorable pair of Steve Madden high heels for less than $100, and the shipping is free (standard shipping is always free at Zappos). You're feeling pretty pleased with your experience already. Then you receive them by second day air, sooner than you expected.

"Free shipping by second day air so I may receive my shoes in record time?" you ask yourself, "Have I accidentally died and gone to heaven?" You eagerly rip open your package, only to discover there is a flaw in the shoes, and you feel you must exchange them for another pair. "Uh oh," you think to yourself, "now I'll probably run into a ton of problems returning them."

Wrong! Zappos pays your return shipping, no questions asked, and if you call them, they've been known to ship your replacement shoes before you return the originals! They may even give you a follow up call to make sure you received the shoes you wanted, and that they were okay. Now that's customer service!
